Chinese herbal practice has been in continuous use for more than 2,500 years, refined across generations of practitioners who watched what happened in real bodies and recorded it. That is a deep and serious body of knowledge, and it stands on its own. Modern clinical research asks a different kind of question in a different language, and Elix decided that question was worth asking too.
So Elix funded its own research and registered it publicly. There are three Elix clinical studies, all listed on ClinicalTrials.gov, all reviewed by an independent review board, all run with an outside research partner rather than graded in-house. The protocols are public. You can read them without asking Elix for anything.

RESULTS POSTED
Cycle Balance’s Impact on PMS & Menstrual Symptoms
The first Elix study followed participants taking Cycle Balance for three months, tracking 15 premenstrual and menstrual symptoms on a validated health survey. Participants rated severity before, during, and after. Ninety percent reported improvement in their PMS and menstrual symptoms overall.
Registered as NCT05145257.¹ Single-arm, open-label, observational. Principal investigator Susanne Mitschke, MSc, with research partner Citruslabs. Results are posted to the registry.

Cycle Balance, Daily Harmony, & PCOS
The second study examined what happens over six months for people living with PCOS, split into two groups: those taking hormonal birth control and those not. It looked at cycle regularity, skin clarity, mood, focus, fatigue, and sleep quality, with a smaller subgroup whose skin was graded by an expert reviewer.
Registered as NCT05875233.⁴ Open-label, two-arm, virtual.

Cycle Balance, Daily Harmony, & Fibroid Related Symptoms
The third study is underway now. Over 24 weeks, it follows participants aged 20 to 45 with a uterine fibroid symptoms, using validated quality-of-life questionnaires to track the symptoms they live with day to day.
Registered as NCT07078682.⁵ Single-arm, open-label, virtual. Currently recruiting.

How to read these results honestly
Here is the part most brands skip. All three Elix studies are open-label, which means participants knew what they were taking, and two are single-arm, which means there was no placebo group to compare against.
Outcomes are self-reported. That design is common for dietary supplements and it is genuinely useful for understanding lived experience, but it is not the same as a double-blind randomized trial, and Elix is not going to pretend otherwise.
What it does tell you is real. A defined group of people, tracked on a validated instrument, over a defined period, with the protocol published in advance so nobody moved the goalposts afterward. That is more than almost any herbal supplement on the shelf can show you.
